Cosette has corporate and manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and North Carolina and is supported by more than 300 dedicated employees across all functional areas.\nInnovating every day.™\nPosition Summary\nAs the External Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of assigned contract manufacturing and packaging partners supporting Cosette's Brand Portfolio. Working closely with Quality Operations and Technical Services, you will lead Virtual Plant Team activities that drive supplier performance, contract adherence, supply continuity, and operational excellence across the external manufacturing network.\nHow You'll Spend Your Day\nServe as the primary operational contact for assigned CMO and CPO partners.\nLead Virtual Plant Team governance and performance reviews for assigned suppliers.\nMonitor supplier performance against service, quality, delivery, and cost expectations.\nManage production schedules, supply commitments, and inventory requirements.\nCoordinate issue resolution and escalation management across internal and external stakeholders.\nPartner with Quality and Technical Services to drive supplier performance improvements.\nEnsure contract adherence and execution of supplier commitments.\nTrack and mitigate supply continuity risks.\nSupport product launches, technology transfers, validation activities, and lifecycle changes.\nFacilitate supplier business reviews and action plan execution.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the external supply network.\nDevelop operational dashboards and supplier performance scorecards.\nSkills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Science, or related discipline.\n5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, or external manufacturing experience.\nExperience working with CMOs, CPOs, or external supply partners.\nUnderstanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and supply continuity requirements.\nStrong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and supplier interactions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and relationship management capabilities.\nAbility to influence without direct authority.\nWillingness to travel approximately 20%.\nSalary Range\nThe expected annual base salary for this New Jersey based position is $113,000 - $146,000.
