You will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions, introduce new materials, validate mission requirements and manufacture cutting edge technology that is ready for space. You will also be the subject matter expert that will identify and resolve design problems before they become reality. This role will interface with product, manufacturing and business development teams and will have the opportunity to impact company objectives.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nDevelop mechanical enclosures for electronic products\nCreate, run and evaluate structural, thermal and vibration analysis on electronic enclosures\nSupport electronics development and trade studies\nCreate interface definition, specification, technical drawings and control documents\nValidate requirements through design, test, analysis, or inspection\nPlan and conduct tests, review and interpret data\nProvide technical guidance for hardware installation.\nOversee BOM structures, product configurations, and hardware release workflows.\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering\n7+ years of experience with the structural analysis\nExperience with FEA tools (ANSYS preferred)\nExcellent understanding of structural analysis/mechanics\nWorking knowledge of 3D CAD programs\nExperience with GD&T implementation and analysis (ASME Y14.5)\nAbility to work effectively in teams\nAbility to be self-directed and balance several tasks at one time\nAbility to communicate analysis results effectively\nExperience with ruggedized electronics enclosures or similar high performance hardware\nSkills and Experience\nExperience with tools CAD and analysis tools.\nExperience with fatigue analysis and fracture mechanics.\nFamiliarity with aerospace industry standard structural analysis methods.\nFamiliarity with electronics packaging concepts.\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation -
