We are excited being a preferred partner for global brands like Nike, Adidas, Reebok in the SEE.\nWe are looking for an Operational Compliance Engineer to join our Property team! The role is based in our offices in Athens - Kolonos.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct regular visits and Health & Safety inspections across stores, offices, warehouses and company facilities, ensuring safe, functional and compliant working environments. \nSupport new store openings, relocations, refurbishments and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements. \nPartner with Construction, Retail and People teams to identify risks, monitor facility condition and operational readiness, and implement preventive measures. \nMonitor contractor activities during maintenance, fit-out and renovation projects. \nLead risk assessments for retail operations, logistics facilities and technical projects. \nInvestigate workplace incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions. \nEnsure compliance with company standards and Greek legislation. \nDeliver Health & Safety training and awareness initiatives to store and office teams.\nMonitor emergency preparedness processes, fire safety measures and contractor compliance across all sites.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field). \n2-3 years of experience in Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Retail Operations, Construction or a similar environment. \nExperience serving as a Safety Technician will be considered a strong asset. \nGood knowledge of Greek Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements. \nExperience in conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections and incident investigations, as well as supervising Health & Safety compliance during maintenance, fit-out and refurbishment projects\nStrong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. \nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams across Construction, Retail & People functions. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). \nFluent in Greek and good command of English.\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation package \nHealth Insurance Program\nCareer development opportunities & education programs\nAcademic opportunities through our established university partnerships (with discounts of up to 75% at the European University of Cyprus, up to €3,000 at UCLan, and up to 60% at Mediterranean College)\nIntegrated health & well-being support for all employees, including free diagnostic tests at Euromedica diagnostic centres and seamless access to a mental health platform\nOne day off, part of our \"parents’ day off\" program - offered specifically for the first day of school\nGenerous employee discount in all our brands (Cosmos Sport, Sneaker10, Slamdunk, Rundome, JD Sports stores)\nExtras, discounts and perks - Being a valued member of Cosmos Sport team means a lot to us!
