As a Solution Architect and Bid Manager you will focus on growing ICT business, by developing solutions, preparing offers and liaising with customers and partners.\nDuties & responsibilities\nThe ideal candidate will become part of the ICT Presales team for EU Institutions and International Organizations, and his/her responsibilities will include:\nAssessment of opportunities for providing ICT solutions to EUIs and IOs, including analysis of tender scope, technical specifications, selection and evaluation criteria;\nAnalysis and evaluation (both technical and financial) of ICT solutions and their alternatives, synthesis of solution components incorporating background information, customer policies and company’s strategy to meet technical requirements of EU tenders;\nCollaboration with ICT Sales function, collaboration and coordination of internal technical teams to analyze and design optimal ICT solutions to address requirements of EU tenders;\nAssessment/recommendation of partners and subcontractors for providing complementary ICT solutions and services to EUIs and IOs;\nEnd-to-end management of the bidding process for EU tenders:Definition of the bid structure and bid preparation timeframe,\nMonitoring of bid progress and internal teams’, partners’ and subcontractors’ responses within agreed timeframe,\nAnalysis and preparation of methodologies for the delivery of ICT services,\nPreparation and write-up of (parts of) the technical proposal and case studies for ICT solutions,\nQuality control of the technical proposal, including review of technical material provided by internal technical teams, partners and subcontractors,\nCollection in a timely manner of all costs by internal teams, partners and subcontractors associated to the specified ICT solution;\n\nPreparation of appropriate material and support of the ICT Sales function by giving technical presentations to the customers;\nCollaboration with ICT Sales function to develop new, as well as to improve current ICT solutions and services portfolio;\nDriving of continuous improvement of ICT Bid Management function.\nRequired Skills\nUniversity degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant field;\nMinimum 2 years in Bidding or Consulting for ICT Solutions and Services for EU Institutions or International Public Sector;\nAlternatively, minimum 4 years of experience in proposal preparation and project coordination for EU-funded Research and Innovation projects (e.g., EU-H2020, EU-Horizon, EDF, etc.);\nStrong ability to analyse, define and describe ICT solutions to meet tender specifications;\nGood knowledge of solutions, as well as the related methodologies and tools, in any of the following domains: Cloud, Data Center, Virtualization, Data Analytics, AI, Infrastructure/Application monitoring;\nGood knowledge of ITSM processes; ITIL certifications will be considered a plus;\nAlternatively, good knowledge of Project Management methodologies; PM certifications will be considered a plus;\nStrong communication and presentation skills;\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English;\nAbility to work and collaborate in an international/multi-cultural environment;\nHighly self-motivated and methodical, with attention to detail;\nAbility to establish relationships of trust and to negotiate with clients and partners;\nAbility to lead and work effectively in a virtual team environment;\nAbility to prioritize and manage time productively.\nWhat we offer\nAt Telekom, we recognize and reward every effort without discrimination through a wide range of benefits and programs for our people.\nYour benefits\nCompetitive remuneration package\nCafeteria benefits\nCompany mobile and device subsidies\nFixed telephony, Internet and Magenta TV packages\nModern working environment with the equipment and tools required for your role\nYour balance\nFlexible working arrangements\nPrivate insurance for employees and their family members\nFamily Care: maternity, childbirth and parental leave to care for children, above the minimum required by law and provided equally to working mothers and fathers\nYour wellness\nHealth, safety, and wellness programs, including the “The Coach” exercise and wellness platform\nWellness and sports activities\nDietician appointments\nMedical check-ups\nTelekom psychological service\nYour development\nWe foster an empowering culture that encourages our people to seize every opportunity to learn and achieve personal development through:\nUnlimited access to digital learning platforms such as Percipio and Coursera\nVarious face-to-face and customized learning academies\nTalent and rotation programs\nYour onboarding\nVirtual new-hire preboarding and onboarding program\nA buddy to support you during your first months\nPlease note that you will be contacted only if you are shortlisted for an interview.
