It’s your chance to turn complex data into meaningful insight, build solutions that influence decisions and help Costa unlock new opportunities, which means you’ll be:\nGathering, cleaning and processing data from a range of internal and external sources, making sure it is accurate, reliable and ready for analysis.\nExploring data to identify patterns, trends, outliers and opportunities that can support stronger commercial and operational decisions.\nApplying statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive and prescriptive models, test hypotheses and solve real business problems.\nUsing Python, PySpark and SQL to analyse data and develop high-quality, maintainable solutions.\nCreating and maintaining data pipelines and automated workflows, following agreed to timely project delivery, strong model quality, stakeholder satisfaction and production-level code quality.\nWho you are\nIt’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:\nA data professional with 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist or in a similar role, ideally within a related industry or domain.\nProven expertise in using data, statistical analysis and machine learning to solve business challenges and generate actionable insight.\nStrong technical capability across Python, PySpark and SQL, with experience working with complex datasets.\nStrong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including classification, regression, supervised learning and unsupervised learning.\nProven expertise in model tuning and feature selection, with the judgement to evaluate and improve model performance.\nExperience using Azure and Databricks within a modern data environment.\nA strong listener and communicator who can explain technical concepts and findings clearly to different audiences.\nA collaborative problem solver who can build strong relationships across technical teams and business functions.\nA bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science or engineering.\nIt would be helpful, but not essential, if you also have:\nData visualisation experience, including Power
