This role provides the building blocks for a strong and rewarding technical career, offering mentorship, real-world experience, and continuous opportunities for professional growth.\nBasic Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable major. \nMust have an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027. \nMinimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. \nAt least 2 months of previous relevant internship or co-op experience. \nProficiency with a CAD package (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar). \nHands-on aptitude: comfortable prototyping, wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting hardware. \nComfort extracting and analyzing data with Python, MATLAB, or Excel, plus clear written and verbal communication. \nAbility to discuss prior internship, project, or academic work, including the problem solved, technical approach, collaboration, and outcomes. \nPreferred Qualifications and Experiences:\nWorking knowledge of mechatronics fundamentals: sensors, actuators, motor control, and basic electronics. \nExperience with microcontrollers or embedded platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar). \nExposure to a manufacturing, production, or lab environment. \nCoursework or projects in mechanical design, robotics, automation, sensors, or precision motion systems.\nInterest in learning new technologies and building high-quality hardware. \nDemonstrated initiative and collaboration through academic, internship, extracurricular, or team-based experiences. \nFamiliarity with Agile development practices.\nExposure to AI, frameworks, or other technical tools through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning. \nWhat’s in it for you?\nWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.\nWe offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
