You will learnand reinforce security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as vulnerability management, endpoint security, security tool integration, threat detection and response, software security, and emerging areas such as AI security and automation.\nAssociate Security Engineersassistwith deploying, supporting, and improving security technologies under the guidance of experienced team members. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn new tools, contribute to securityefforts, and help strengthen security practices across the CoStar Enterprise.\nThis position is located inRichmond, VA and offers a schedule ofMonday to Thursday in officeand the optionto work from home on Friday.\nBasic Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a comparable major.\n\nMust have an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027.\n\nMinimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.\n\nDemonstrated interest in cybersecurity through personal endeavors outside of undergraduate degree program\n\nAt least 2 months of previousrelevant internship or co-op experience.\n\nExposure toscripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues, identifypotential causes, and document findings or recommended next steps.\n\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.\n\nAbility to follow established processes, document work accurately, and collaborate with technical teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications and Experiences:\nSec+\n\nCySA+\n\nSecurity Operation Center experience\n\nAbility to describe basic cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability management, endpoint security, network security, authentication, access controls, or incident response.\n\nExposure toAI, machine learning, automation, or AI security concepts through internship, co-op, academic, or personal projects.\n\nWhat’sin it for you?\nWhen you join CoStar Group, you’llexperience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.\nWe offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
