This Engineer is responsible for assisting in the support of all aspects of HRIS integrations and technical configurations. This Engineer is also responsible for participating in any future development activities, including system upgrades and the implementation of additional applications and functionality. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work across different teams and thrive in fast-paced environment. The Senior Engineer reports directly into the Director, HR Technology within the Human Resources organization at CoStar.\nThis position is located in Arlington, VA and offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday in office and the option to work from home Friday.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain inbound and outbound integrations with multiple vendors\nAssist with the technical configuration to enable new Workday features in recruiting, absence, payroll, performance management and benefits modules\nConfigure Workday security for authorized access\nWork directly with key business and IT stakeholders to establish requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, ultimately configure, test and deploy integration solutions\nIdentify opportunities within existing processes and implement scalable automated solutions\nEstablish processes/controls to maintain data integrity for critical fields feeding into other systems\nLead future development activities, including system upgrades and the implementation of additional applications and functionality\nCoach power users on Workday functionality and ensure they are leveraging Workday to the fullest\nWork on projects with a broad scope, involving multiple technologies\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or college \nA track record of commitment to prior employers \n4+ years of development experience, including 3+ years of experience with Workday.\nExperience working with Workday in a technical capacity with HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, Security, Report Writing, Integrations and business processes\nExperience in the development and maintenance of integrations using Workday’s core tools (Workday Studio, Workday Extend, Workday Prism, Core Connectors, CCB, Web Services, Enterprise Interface Builder/EIB)\nAble to demonstrate the creation of innovative solutions for complex Workday integrations\nDemonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.)\nSuperior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills\nAbility to create project plans and timelines based upon understanding of tasks and milestones\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven ability to work with others\nAbility to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to business needs\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel\nWhat’s in it for You\nWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.\nWe offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
