By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.\nWe are currently seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer to join our team to support multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as Debt Solution, CoStar Suite, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X.\nThis position is located in Arlington VA and offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday in office and the option to work from home Friday.\nResponsibilities\nOwnership and pride in performance and its impact on company’s success and can work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization.\nAutomating and leveraging DevOps principles, always striving for operational excellence with infrastructure-as-code mentality.\nContinuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) using latest DevOps tools and innovative methods\nWorks well in a team environment as an individual contributor\nAn individual who is comfortable in a development and operations role\nCommunicate and collaborate well with teams in IT and business organizations within the company\nDeploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem Kubernetes) \nSupport application deployments across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability \nDiagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across distributed and microservices-based systems \nBe a critical thinker with good problem solving and time management skills and an ability to multi-task\nStrong communication skills, expresses oneself clearly both verbally and in writing.\nProvides help to management, including hiring, on-boarding, training and performance reviews.\nMotivates team members and assesses performance, keeps management updated on team performance.\nBasic Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or college\nA track record of commitment to prior employers\n5+ years’ experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus\nSolid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projects\nInfrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar platforms\nSome experience in AWS or Azure or Google cloud\nExperience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics, and RUM.\nHeavy scripting support (PowerShell), Bash, Ruby, Groovy\nExperience with any SQL or No SQL databases\nExperience configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on-prem (e.g., systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters).\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments \nExperience with application deployment strategies (rolling, blue-green, canary) and production troubleshooting in containerized environments \nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nProgramming languages / some developer background with either Java, C#, Python,NodeJS\nServer-less architecture methodologies\nFamiliarity with PCI compliance and remediation\nMobile application support (iOS, Android)\nExperience in REST API or Microservices development\nAgile methodologies and working on short sprint cycles\nExperience with Kubernetes observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging (e.g., ELK stack).\nExperience managing Kubernetes deployments using Helm or similar package management tools. \nWhat’s in it for You\nWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.\nWe offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
