The responsibilities focus on driving complete and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.\nResponsibilities\nAccounting\nPrepare and review external financial reporting deliverables, including quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB reporting standards\nOversee the completion of monthly and quarterly trend analyses\nServe as a technical accounting expert, researching and preparing documentation for complex transactions, including M&A, stock-based compensation, debt, leases, derivatives, non-revenue contracts, impairment analysis, investments, etc.\nImplement and monitor new accounting pronouncements that impact the financial statements\nCoordinate with external auditors on planning, audit requests, and ensuring timely completion of the audit\nMaintain chart of accounts and division structure for NetSuite\nAssist with development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting, equity, and stock-based compensation\nPartner with the general accounting team to assist with questions around complex journal entries, EBITDA addbacks, reconciliations, and ad-hoc accounting questions\nContribute to continual process improvement projects, including new tool implementations, refining policies and procedures, and finding AI efficiencies\nSupport the development and growth of the other Financial Reporting team members\nOverall\nHire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. \nComplete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting .\nComplete all special projects and other duties as assigned.\nMust be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required.
