This role ensures the successful launch and ongoing management of a product or product line by aligning business needs with customer expectations. They drive product ideation, execution, and stakeholder alignment while balancing customer needs with business objectives.\nThe Product Manager in this role will be responsible for managing clinical and claims data across products to enable risk adjustment and quality software and service programs. The ideal candidate has worked with or in health plans with exposure to data types commonly seen in health plan operations.\nThe Product Manager must lead cross-functional collaboration, influence key business decisions without direct authority, and ensure team consensus to bring products to market and manage their lifecycle effectively. Strong leadership, communication, analytical skills, and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and execute the product strategy and roadmap.\nDeliver product market requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justifications.\nWork with AI tools to create product requirements and prototypes.\nBe an expert with respect to the competition.\nCollaborate across teams within the company.\nDevelop the core positioning and messaging for the product.\nEngage in requirements and feedback gathering with customers.\nCollaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop sales tools.\nPropose an overall budget to ensure success.\nBriefly train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.\nAct as a leader within the company.\nComplete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. \nComplete all special projects and other duties as assigned. \nMust be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. \nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required. This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and requirements of the job change.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or other field demonstrating technical expertise or equivalent work experience.\n2+ years of relevant professional experience. \n2+ years of experience with health plan data types, including claims, clinical chart, and eligibility data. \nStrong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.\n Demonstrated success defining and launching web based services and products.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.\nTechnical background, with experience in software development.\nProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. \nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Database interaction capabilities.\nMedicare Advantage or other healthcare experience preferred.\nCognitive / Mental Requirements:\nAbility to work independently as well as collaborate as a team with a sense of urgency.\nBe value-driven, understand that success is based on the impact of your work rather than its complexity or the level of effort.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.\nAbility to work within a matrixed organization.\nProficiency in all required skills and competencies above.\nCommunicating with others and teamwork.\nAssessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions :\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nMust be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.\nMust be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.\nTravel as assigned by Leadership (10 -15%)\nMoving (carrying, lifting, pushing, etc.) equipment weighing up to 10 lbs. for presentations set -up, etc.\n\nExposure to moderate noise intensity is expected.\n\nNo adverse environmental conditions are expected.\n\nBase compensation ranges from $103,000 to $128,000 per year.
