The successful candidate will be required to collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.\nResponsibilities\nSupport and enhance high quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite. \nAnalyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customers. \nDocuments the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out. \nDemonstrates proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines. \nExecutes solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability. \nCommunicates technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner. \nEnsure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems. \nExplores new ideas and makes innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results. \nContinuously improves and enhances knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. \nExecute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement. \nMentor other developers. \nComplete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. \nComplete all special projects and other duties as assigned. \nMust be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. \nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required. This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and requirements of the job change.\nQualifications\nBS or MS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. \n4-5 years of industry experience. \nMust have 2+ years’ Healthcare data experience. \nProficiency working with large datasets. \n4-5 years' experience with relational databases. \n4-5 years' experience working with ETL processes. \nOptimization and tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers. \nAdvanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. \n4-5 years' experience with Java frameworks or Net Framework. \nKnowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools.\nGood written and oral communication skills. \nMental Requirements:\nCritical Thinking: Analyze problems objectively and make sound, data-driven decisions.\nAttention to Detail: Maintain accuracy across code, data, and deliverables.\nQuantitative Skills: Apply strong analytical and statistical methods to solve problems.\nData Interpretation: Extract actionable insights from data, metrics, and visualizations.\nCommunication: Clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nLearning Agility: Quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices.\nResilience: Adapt to shifting priorities and deliver under pressure.\nIntegrity: Handle data responsibly and uphold engineering and ethical standards.\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nThis is a remote position - must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area with reliable hi-speed internet.\nBase compensation ranges from $111,000 to $150,000 per year.
