You will be expected to implement functionality changes and defect fixes that support onboarding of new clients and quick resolution of production issues. You will also contribute to designing and augmenting an existing, customized software application to bring transparency, automation, and intelligence for internal Cotiviti systems.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop high quality, maintainable software modules for the Cotiviti, Inc. software products.\nConduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodology and techniques.\nAnalyze requirements and specifications and create detailed designs for implementation.\nChange control management. Enter, transcribe, record, store and maintain information in both written and electronic form.\nReview software engineering approach to proposed solutions to ensure adherence to best practice.\nWorks within the team supporting analytics systems with technology and applications to support our in-house client support partners.\nBecomes a subject matter expert (SME) for end-to-end Cotiviti client-facing solution for design, development and troubleshooting purposes.\nAnalyzes and resolves software related issues originating from internal or external customers.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues collaboratively within, and across, Cotiviti teams.\nDocuments the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications.\nDemonstrates proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines.\nExecutes, or recommends, solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability.\nCommunicates technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a clear andtimely manner.\nEnsure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.\nExplores new ideas and makes innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results.\nContinuously improves and enhances knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. \nExecute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement and building a high-performing team culture. \nMentor, and share knowledge with, other developers and technicians. \nComplete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. \nComplete all special projects and other duties as assigned. \nMust be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. \nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required. This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and requirements of the job change.\nQualifications\nBS or MS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.\n3+ years of industry experience.\n3+ years experience with Java.\n3+ years experience with databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and / or PostgreSQL.\n3+ years’ experience in SQL development on Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and / or PostgreSQL.\n3+ years’ experience troubleshooting production issues in enterprise Java applications backed by relational databases.\nExperience with Java frameworks, such as Spring or Spring Boot.\nFrontend development experience with Angular, React, and / or Vue.\nMust have 2+ years’ Healthcare data experience.\nOptimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers\nExperience & expertise in resolving issues in production, and client-facing, environments.\nProficiency working with large datasets.\nAbility to analyze requirements and design solutions\nExperience with Git / Bitbucket and Jenkins a plus; code versioning / repositories a must.\nAdvanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.\nStrong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices, preferred.\nKnowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools.\nCognitive/Mental Requirements\nCommunicating with others to exchange information.\nProblem-solving and thinking critically.\nCompleting tasks independently.\nAssessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.\nRemembering and adhering to processes and protocols. \nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nMust be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.\nMust be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.\nBase compensation ranges from $91,000 to $118,000 per year.
