This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and requirements of the job change.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.\n2-3 years' experience with software engineering best practices such as continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, and code reviews\nUnderstanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with specific exposure or participation in Agile/Scrum techniques\nStrong understanding of OOP and common design patterns\nProficiency working with large data sets\nVersed in the optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers\nAbility to execute on project deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment within estimated timelines\nStrong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nTechnical Requirements\n2-3 years' experience with languages: Java or Python\n2-3 years' experience with scripting languages: VBScript or PowerShell\n2-3 years' experience with databases: Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, Hive\n2-3 years' experience with 3rd party platforms: React, Cloudera Hadoop, Appian\n2-3 years' experience with web services using Java/Spring Boot\n2-3 years’ experience in container technology and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.\n2-3 years’ Experience with Kafka stream processing using tools like Kafka Streams and KSQL.\n2-3 years' experience with Git\n2-3 years' experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, etc. (added advantage)\n\nMental Requirements:\nCritical Thinking: Analyze problems objectively and make sound, data-driven decisions.\nAttention to Detail: Maintain accuracy across code, data, and deliverables.\nQuantitative Skills: Apply strong analytical and statistical methods to solve problems.\nData Interpretation: Extract actionable insights from data, metrics, and visualizations.\nCommunication: Clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nLearning Agility: Quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices.\nResilience: Adapt to shifting priorities and deliver under pressure.\nIntegrity: Handle data responsibly and uphold engineering and ethical standards.\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nMust be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.\nMust be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.\nBase compensation ranges from $91,000 to $129,000 per year.
