This role will serve as the primary owner of the Salesforce platform, driving user adoption, system enhancements, automation, reporting, and data integrity while partnering closely with business stakeholders to improve sales, service, and operational processes.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as the primary administrator for Salesforce, including user management, security, profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.\nConfigure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, record types, flows, and other declarative solutions.\nDesign, build, and optimize business process automation using Salesforce Flow and other low-code tools.\nPartner with business leaders and end users to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.\nCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable business insights.\nManage data quality through governance, deduplication, data imports, cleansing initiatives, and ongoing monitoring.\nSupport and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, and native integration tools.\nCoordinate testing, deployment, and release management activities for Salesforce enhancements and updates.\nEvaluate and implement new Salesforce features, products, and capabilities, including Salesforce Einstein and AI-driven functionality.\nDevelop user documentation, training materials, and best practices to drive adoption and maximize platform effectiveness.\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide advanced support to users across the organization.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a complex, enterprise environment.\nDeep knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security model, automation tools, reporting, and data management.\nExperience gathering business requirements and delivering Salesforce solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.\nHands-on experience supporting Salesforce integrations and data synchronization processes.\nStrong understanding of CRM best practices, governance, and data stewardship.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Administrator Certification required or strongly preferred; Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder certifications are a plus.\nExperience with Salesforce Flow, Approval Processes, Dynamic Forms, and Lightning Experience customization.\nWorking knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Salesforce development concepts.\nExperience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.\nExperience in insurance, employee benefits, financial services, or a highly regulated industry.\nExperience leveraging Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, Copilot, or other AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong Salesforce platform expertise, business process analysis, solution design, data management, stakeholder collaboration, communication, continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to translate business challenges into scalable CRM solutions.\nAbout Cottingham & Butler:\nAt Cottingham & Butler, we sell a promise to help our clients through life’s toughest moments.
