The position requires experience supporting construction and infrastructure-related projects, including the ability to read construction drawings and coordinate field activities involving trenching, plumbing, electrical power, building systems, temporary support facilities, and equipment installation.\nWhat you'll be Doing\nProject Management and Execution\nEstablish and execute project work plans to support successful project delivery. \nPlan and coordinate project activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.\nReview and interpret project drawings, blueprints, and site plans. \nCoordinate field activities involving trenching, plumbing, electrical power, building systems, temporary support facilities, and equipment installation. \nProcure materials, issue purchase orders, and secure permits and required approvals. \nPrepare, submit, and manage change order proposals and execute change orders. \nCoordinate subcontractor work, material deliveries, and equipment release to meet installation schedules.\nCoordinate asset movement for mobilization, change orders, and demobilization. \nMaintain accurate project documentation including contracts, permits, change orders, and billing files.\nDevelop site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with company safety standards. \n\nClient and Stakeholder Communication\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. \nProvide project updates and address issues related to scope, schedule, cost, and field operations. \n\nQuality, Safety, and Compliance\nConduct and document PMRs and Toolbox meetings.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project quality standards. \nSupport safety investigations and corrective action efforts when needed. \nOperational and Financial Oversight\nTrack project budgets, schedules, labor, and deliverables. \nDraft contracts for subcontractors and third-party vendors. \nCoordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure performance and contract compliance. \n\nProblem Solving and Risk Management\nIdentify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or customer satisfaction.\nCommunicate risks or delays promptly and collaborate on solutions. \nMaintain professionalism when addressing customer concerns or job-site challenges. \nWhat You Bring to the Table\n3+ years of construction experience in commercial and residential projects \n Knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) \n Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation \n Experience coordinating field construction activities including trenching, plumbing, electrical, building systems, and equipment installation \n Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications \n Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills \n Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) \n Working knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, contract coordination, and field operations \n Familiarity with subcontractor coordination and insurance/client reporting processes \n Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety standards \n Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Logistics, or related field preferred \n\nWhy Cotton?\nImpactful Work: Play a key role in restoring communities and supporting clients during critical recovery periods.\nCollaborative Culture: Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence and innovation.\nCareer Growth: Expand your skills in project management, business development, and operational leadership.\nTravel Opportunities: Experience diverse work environments with domestic and international travel opportunities.\n\nOur Values\n At Cotton, we value Action Orientation, Collaboration, and Accountability.
