You will work with other engineers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals and build tools to improve the health of real people.\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will:\nBe responsible for simplifying the complexities of healthcare by building systems that multiply human efforts.\nBuild and maintain production software that implements healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7:\nDevelop and test the APIs, services, and data pipelines that work with FHIR resources and HL7 messages.\nTranslate standards and implementation guides into code, data models, validation logic, and automated tests.\nPreserve clinical meaning and data quality as information moves between systems.\nMaster new tools and technologies to solve problems and move our goals forward.\nHelp the team define and maintain development practices that let us iterate quickly while maintaining quality - including writing tests and documenting key implementations.\nWork with Product Managers and operational staff to develop new features.\nYou should get in touch if:\nYou have hands-on experience building production software with FHIR and HL7.\nYou have been a Software Engineer for 5+ years and have experience in Python, Javascript, or Go.\nYou have experience writing SQL queries in Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or other database systems.\nYou are comfortable working as a data engineer cleaning, normalizing, and improving data quality.\nYou can create and call Restful APIs, experience with gRPC is a plus.\nYou have experience working with cloud services such as GCP or AWS\nYou will love this job if:\nYou are excited by big, complicated problems and try to solve them with pragmatic, well-engineered solutions.
