We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Data Analysis Director to lead our Taiwan analytics organization.\nThis leader will shape the country's data strategy, build a high-performing analytics team, and partner closely with business leaders across Retail, Marketplace, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience to unlock growth opportunities through data.\nWhat You Will Do\nStrategic Analytics Leadership\nDefine and execute Coupang Taiwan's analytics vision, roadmap, and operating model.\nBuild a culture of evidence-based decision making throughout the organization.\nTranslate complex business challenges into measurable analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.\nServe as a trusted advisor to Taiwan leadership on growth opportunities, business performance, and strategic investments.\nBusiness Insights & Performance Management\nDevelop executive-level reporting and KPI frameworks across: Customer acquisition and retention, GMV and revenue growth, Category performance, Marketplace seller health, Fulfillment and logistics performance, Marketing effectiveness, Customer satisfaction metrics.\nIdentify growth opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and emerging market trends through advanced analytics.\nAdvanced Analytics & Data Science\nLead teams responsible for: Predictive analytics, Demand forecasting, Customer segmentation, Pricing and promotion analytics, Marketing attribution, Marketplace analytics, Supply chain optimization.\nPartner with Product and Engineering teams to leverage machine learning and AI-driven solutions that improve business outcomes.\nCross-Functional Business Partnership\nCollaborate closely with Taiwan and Global stakeholders to influence strategic planning and resource allocation.\nSupport executive business reviews, annual operating plans, and investment decisions through robust analytical insights.\nDrive data governance, metric standardization, and analytical best practices across teams.\nTeam Leadership\nBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, analysts, and data scientists.\nEstablish talent development programs and succession planning within the analytics organization.\nFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nWithin the first 12 months, this leader is expected to:\nImprove executive visibility into business performance through automated analytics and reporting.\nEstablish standardized metrics and data governance frameworks across Taiwan.\nIdentify and execute high-impact growth and productivity opportunities through data insights.\nIncrease adoption of self-service analytics across business functions.\nBuild a scalable analytics organization capable of supporting Coupang Taiwan's next phase of growth.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field\n12+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, consulting, or data science\n5+ years of people leadership experience managing managers and senior individual contributors\nStrong expertise in: SQL, Python or R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization platforms, Data warehousing environments\nDemonstrated experience influencing executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations\nExperience developing KPI frameworks and executive dashboards for large-scale businesses\nStrong problem-solving and structured analytical thinking skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree or MBA preferred\nExperience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail, technology, logistics, or high-growth digital businesses\nExperience leading regional or country-level analytics organizations\nStrong understanding of customer lifecycle analytics, digital commerce economics, and consumer behavior\nExperience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, causal inference, and forecasting methodologies\nFamiliarity with cloud-based analytical platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud\nProven track record influencing country leadership and C-level executives\nRecruitment Process and Others\nRecruitment Process\nApplication Review -
