Role Overview    

Coupang is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our Supply Chain Management Automation (SCMA) portfolio in Taiwan.

This leader will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of systems that determine what to order, when to order, and how much to order across Coupang's retail supply chain. You will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Retail, and Operations teams to build highly automated, model-driven decision systems that improve inventory availability, purchasing efficiency, and customer experience.

This is a highly strategic role focused on solving complex business problems through optimization, machine learning, and AI-enabled automation. You will lead a growing team of Product Managers while helping define the future of supply chain decision-making at Coupang.

What You Will Do  

• Define and drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for Supply Chain Management Automation products.

• Lead product investments across ordering, replenishment, inventory, and procurement decision systems.

• Partner with Engineering and Data Science leaders to build scalable ML, optimization, and AI-powered products.

• Drive alignment across Retail, Buying, Instock, and Operations stakeholders.

• Establish product KPIs and ensure measurable business impact.Manage and develop a team of Product Managers.

• Partner with global teams, including Korea, to balance local innovation with platform standardization.

• Translate ambiguous operational problems into scalable product solutions.

• Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights to accelerate product development and decision-making.

Basic Qualifications   

• 10+ years of Product Management experience in e-commerce, technology, supply chain, or related industries.

• Experience leading complex, data-driven products at scale.

• Proven track record partnering with Engineering and Data Science organizations.

• Experience managing Product Managers and leading cross-functional teams.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

• Ability to work with large datasets and perform hands-on analysis.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to work effectively across Taiwan-based business stakeholders and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Replenishment, or Procurement systems.

• Experience launching products involving machine learning, optimization, forecasting, or automation.

• Experience with AI-powered products, GenAI tools, or agentic systems.Experience in large-scale e-commerce or marketplace environments.

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
