You will work closely with the product team to define and implement simple solutions of complex infrastructure problems while ensuring to build a highly scalable, reliable and efficient platform for our customers. \nYou will technically guide teams working on full stack development teams using Java, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Argo CD and gRPC. You will be accountable for hiring and developing technical leaders and top talent, raising the bar on engineering and operational excellence.\nWhat You Will Do :\nArchitect workload and service management infrastructure.\nHands-on develop critical infrastructure components.\nDecompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions, providing mechanisms for the teams to prioritize ruthlessly and \"move with urgency\".\nEnvision roadmaps for the scalable and robust growth of Coupang's growing application infrastructure.\nAlign with stakeholders, develop strong developers, and provide technical guidance to engineers on critical projects to resolve complex business problems.\nDemonstrate excellence resulting in scalable systems and services with the highest quality architecture and design.\nDive deep into critical system issues, proactively address similar root causes, and raise the bar on Operational Excellence.\nCollaborate with other Coupang tech leaders to make the service extensible and unlock opportunities for innovation.\nQualifications\n12+ years of professional software development experience.\nHands-on experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems within the last 3 years.\nFluent in one or more of Java, Go or Python.\nExperience with Amazon EKS\nProven track record of delivering mission-critical systems.\nExperience developing and growing senior individual contributors globally.\nExperience with cloud computing using AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience with machine learning job deployment infrastructure such as Argo CD workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands on experience with Kubernetes and gRPC.\nDeep understanding of operating system kernels and distributed systems such as Kafka, Cassandra, and MongoDB.\nProficiency with ML infrastructure and deployment frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorRT, and Triton Backend.\nType of work model\nHybrid / Onsite / Remote working\nOur Hybrid work model: Coupang hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration that acts a catalyst to enrich the experience of employees.
