Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of regular reports and metrics, driving impactful insights, and supporting system-wide decision-making algorithms across key business areas. You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where agility, critical thinking, and clear communication will be crucial for success. \nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams across Pricing, Retail Commerce, 3P Commerce, and Promotions to support decision-making and help develop key metrics. This role will give you an opportunity to own, lead, and deliver projects from start to finish-collaborating with stakeholders and developers to ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery. \nYou will also collaborate with fellow analysts on the team, shaping the direction of reports, metrics, and system algorithms to meet business goals. Analyze data to identify trends and drive business insights. \nContinuously improve Pricing/Promotion reports and systems, staying updated on new technologies and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. \nContribute to strategic planning with data insights, helping to shape metrics, product features, and business strategies. \nSolve complex problems with urgency and minimal supervision. Use data insights to influence product development and business strategies. \nLead end-to-end projects across pricing, retail, and promotions, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery. \nTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nClarify requirements, align objectives, challenge assumptions, and ensure projects meet business goals and timelines. \nContribute to a high-performing team culture by sharing knowledge and fostering ownership, excellence, and continuous learning. \nBasic Qualifications \n8+ years of industry experience in business analytics and a degree in quantitative field \nExpert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Familiarity with Python, R, or similar languages for advanced analytics. Strong skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar. \nStrong understanding of statistical analysis and algorithm design. Ability to apply this knowledge in the context of business data to deliver actionable insights. \nDemonstrated ability to think systematically and maintain clarity in documentation. Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on structure and organization in both analytical thinking and the documentation of processes, methodologies, and results. \nAbility to understand business goals and translate them into actionable data strategies. Strong product sense to guide data analysis that shapes business decisions, operational goals, and product features. \nStrong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to navigate ambiguity. Comfortable working independently and managing projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. \nPreferred Qualifications \n8+ years of industry experience in business analytics and Master’s or PhD degree in quantitative field \nPrevious experience in a retail, e-commerce, or similar fast-paced, data-driven environment. Familiarity with pricing strategies, retail commerce, and promotions \nFamiliarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, along with experience in workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and version control systems (e.g., GitHub). \nProven experience working directly with leadership teams to provide data insights and influence decision-making at the strategic level. \nDemonstrated success as a Team Lead or Tech Lead, managing teams and driving technical projects to successful outcomes.
