Serving as Assistant Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to propel your career forward with exposure to a variety of healthcare projects. You will assist the Lead Program Manager to provide oversite of project management activities and overall performance of individual healthcare projects or programs.\nPurpose\nThe purpose of this position is responsibility for project management services within an assigned\ngeographic market, program, or client account to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.\nEssential Functions\n- Assist internal partners, design team members, and other consultants in performing project feasibility analysis.\n- Interfaces with client’s project leads/administration team, client user groups, property managers, and vendors.\n- Assist with the qualification, selection, and contract negotiations for A/E firm, General Contractor, and other Owner consultant members.\n- Review, negotiate, and approve A/E, GC, and other Owner consultant additional work/change order requests.\n- Assist with supervising the programming and planning efforts of the selected architect.\n- Performs site analysis and investigations.\n- Assist in developing and adhering to detailed development budgets and schedules.\n- Assist in obtaining required project public approvals (CON, Zoning, Annexation, Site Plan Approval, Wetlands, other Processes).\n- Review design development and construction documents to determine adequacy with Owner’s\napproved program.\n- Assist in evaluating the adequacy of all construction allowances, contingencies, and general\nconditions.\n- Provide construction administration in adherence with the Company’s policies and procedures.\n- Monitor the CM performance for areas of potential risk and provides leadership in project safety,\nquality, and infection prevention.\n- Assist in providing project cost control and prepares timely and accurate monthly budget reports and invoices.\n- Assist in the oversight of selection, procurement, delivery and installation of medical and other\nequipment, ensures medical equipment is coordinated, procured and installed in accordance with the construction schedule and the installers vendor requirements signage, and furniture with applicable vendors/consultants.\n- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to clients and is accountable for developing and\nmonitoring project performance indicators.\n- Assist in creating project overview and status report presentations to clients’ administration, board, and committees.\n- Embrace the company’s culture and work collaboratively with others to reach business goals and\nobjectives.\n- Additional responsibilities that may become apparent beyond the above outlined responsibilities.\nWorking Conditions\nThe majority of work is completed in a home office or company office with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Travel to a client or project site could be in the range of 25-75% of the time commitment required to complete many of the functions of the position. Must be able to travel by car, plane, or other forms of transportation to attend owner/client meetings. Hazard exposure is mainly confined to job-site visits and travel.\nEducation, Experience, and Knowledge\n- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration.\n-Prior construction experience preferred, along with a basic understanding of construction processes and project coordination\n- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and performance leading planning,\ndesign, pre-construction, construction, scheduling, and team coordination activities.\n- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze data for the client and team to achieve project goals. Must be able to maintain a professional attitude.\n- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal\nhealthcare clients.\n- Strong ability to multitask, work independently and manage all aspects of construction projects\neffectively and efficiently. Must be self-motivated and possess a proactive attitude.\n- Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office programs including (Power Point, Word,\nExcel, and Teams). eBuilder, Bluebeam, Smartsheet experience is preferred.\n- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding client requirements and expectations.\n- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines.\n- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of management.
