Here we also encourage authenticity and fun to fully embrace being human in a driven and result focused environment to make things happen and ensure the dream becomes a reality.\nJob Title: Senior Data Engineer (Data Infrastructure & Business Insights)\nJob Type: Full-time\nReports To: Head of Engineering\nLocation: Remote (~GMT+8)\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT processes and reliable data pipelines in dbt and BigQuery, integrating data from a variety of sources (MongoDB, SQL, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, APIs, etc.);\nBuild and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Looker Studio and other BI tools;\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization, implement data quality controls;\nProactively collaborate with different stakeholders across operations, sales, finance and tech to clarify requirements and answer data-related questions.\nWhat makes you a great fit:\n5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data analytics roles in a fast-paced or startup environment;\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data solutions;\nStrong proficiency in SQL and Excel, experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses. Familiarity with MongoDB is a plus;\nExperience with Python for data processing or automation (knowledge of other programming languages is a plus);\nSolid understanding of data modeling and database design principles;\nHands-on experience with data visualization and BI tools, especially Looker Studio;\nProficient git user;\nBS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics;\nFluent in written and spoken English.\nThis role might not be a good fit if:\nYou prefer to focus purely on coding and don’t enjoy collaborating or communicating with non-technical teams. This role requires frequent interaction with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data solutions;\nYou find it stressful to manage multiple tasks at once.
