Through hands-on involvement in compliance, reporting and analysis, you’ll build a strong understanding of Coveo’s operations and evolving tax environment while identifying opportunities to improve and streamline the way we work.\nAs our Tax Specialist, you will:\nCoordinate the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, tax provisions and other tax compliance requirements in collaboration with external advisors\nManage Coveo’s transfer pricing activities across applicable jurisdictions, including supporting calculations, documentation and intercompany arrangements. \nManage tax credits and other government assistance programs, from forecasting through claim preparation, filing and audit support.\nEnsure the timely and accurate preparation and filing of indirect tax returns and other recurring tax obligations across applicable jurisdictions.\nResearch tax matters, assess their implications for Coveo and recommend appropriate courses of action, escalating complex or judgmental matters when appropriate.\nPrepare tax calculations, reconciliations, supporting documentation and analyses required for financial reporting and other tax-related activities.\nHere is what will qualify you for the role:\nA university degree in accounting, finance, taxation or another relevant field, combined with relevant experience in tax or accounting.\n2+ years of experience in corporate taxation and an ability to apply that knowledge to moderately complex assignments with growing independence.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to organize your work effectively while managing deadlines.\nClear communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to ask questions, seek feedback and contribute solutions.\nWhat will make you stand out:\nExposure to Canadian corporate income tax, indirect taxes or tax provisions.\nExperience working in a public accounting firm or within the tax or finance function of a corporation.\nInterest in improving processes and using technology to make tax activities more efficient and reliable.\nCuriosity about the tax considerations of a growing international technology company.\nDo you think you can bring this role to life?
