You will report to a Manager in the group, who will coach you and direct your day-to-day work, and you will be accountable to both the Manager and the Director of Financial Reporting. This position sits at the intersection of accounting, business process and technology.\nThe ideal candidate will have Big Four audit experience and NetSuite experience; both are preferred but not required. The role requires a solid understanding of the requests from the external auditors, including the ability to assess whether those requests are reasonable, and the ability to communicate with third parties professionally and with confidence.\nIt is critical that you are a self-starter who is motivated to learn about the business. You will build rapport with internal teams, prepare and deliver supporting files to fulfil external audit requests, and communicate requirements and deadlines at the right level of detail.\nAs you work on the audits, you will build an understanding of our critical accounting processes and controls end to end, create succinct documentation and reporting, and help company leaders manage risk more effectively. A smaller focus of the role is supporting control assessments and walkthroughs, including some IT-focused initiatives.
