Your primary objective will be to lead a dedicated team supporting the Travel domain's goal to be the indispensable global partner for travel businesses by delivering intelligent and adaptive coverage solutions.\nYour squad owns three ways partners can sell protection with us: embedded integrations, where a partner calls our APIs directly from their own checkout; XCover Elements, a drop-in UI layer partners configure rather than build; and Standalone, our own hosted purchase flow for partners without a checkout to embed into. The squad also builds Ancillaries - travel products beyond insurance, such as baggage and disruption cover. You don't need prior insurance experience; you do need to enjoy partner-facing integration work and the reliability bar that comes with being in someone else's checkout.\nTo drive success in this role, you will have proven experience in people management, strong technical leadership in a modern microservices environment, and a background in architecting highly reliable systems. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring and growing a team of talented engineers, guiding our technical strategy and executing our ambitious product roadmap.
