Join us and our 18,000 colleagues now and together we will make the world a brighter place.\nWhat We Offer\nThe Mechanical Maintenance Engineer IV ensures maintenance execution efficiency.They will also support the Maintenance Execution organization and the Asset Owner with technical knowledge.\nMajor Responsibilities\nMonitors daily maintenance activities; ensures compliance with safety and engineering standards\n\nResponsible for timelyjob completion as agreed on in RBWS; monitors area backlog, notifications, and work orders in SAP\n\nPerform as Subject Matter Expert for equipment and repair methods. Support the planning, maintenance execution organization, and asset owners in this capacity\n\nEvaluate equipment failures, andprovide information to Asset Engineers for defect elimination activities. Take corrective actions when failures are deemedto be caused by maintenance processes.\n\nResponsible for monthly reporting of major jobs and repairs, costs, achievements, and safety incidents\n\nClosely collaborate with Asset Engineers to jointly improve the asset performance by becoming a \"Learning Organization”\n\nClosely collaborate with Asset Engineers in Asset Strategy optimization\n\nMakes decisions with designated assignments. Produces anticipatedresults to business or technical goals with supervision of results. Shows proven competency in the application and decision-making in those work processes.\n\nWhat You Offer\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineeringor related degree with at least 3 years’ experience OR Master’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineeringor related degree with at least 2 years’ experience\n\nThe eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nSix Sigma Green Belt Trained\n\nKnowledge & Skills:\nMaturing knowledge of rotating and static equipment used in chemical processing\n\nMaturing analytical and problem-solving skills. Awareness of different troubleshooting methodologies.\n\nUnderstanding of general Maintenance Procedures/Work processes (i.e.Planning, Scheduling, Execution)\n\nWorking knowledge of repair methods and techniques, and best practices (including but not limited to vessel and pipe repair, pump maintenance, lifting techniques, and welding)\n\nDeveloping skills in work planning and management for work involving industrial chemicals (i.e.Phosgene, CO, Cl2, and NH3.)\n\nAbility to ensure application and compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures while performing engineering activities.\n\nGood Oral and Written Communication Skills.
