Sales Account Manager I, Specialty Films

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage North American sales activities with assigned regional accounts with goal of maximizing sales profitability at these accounts.
• Maximize sales growth through new business development activities to support long term growth of Specialty Films.
• Define and help establish key pricing strategies with sales/commercial lead, to achieve desired market share. Negotiate price revisions and sales contracts.
• Collect and communicate strategic competitive and industry information to business teams to help drive growth strategy initiatives and analyze product offerings/portfolio.
• Provide account activity reports and consistent tracking of opportunities.
• Participate in industry associations and trade shows, attending events to maintain and share knowledge on industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of professional sales experience in chemical industry or in plastics manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree discipline in Material Science

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of plastic materials; properties, applications and fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with plastics films extrusion
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficiency in digital platforms and business software including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and selling skills
• Ability to travel up to 75%
