Working closely with data science teams, the Senior AI Engineer transforms innovative concepts into robust, enterprise-grade AI systems that drive Covestro's digital transformation.\nMajor Tasks and Responsibilities\nAI Solution Development & Integration\nEngineer and deploy AI and machine learning models into production environments\nDesign and implement comprehensive MLOps and AIOps pipelines for model lifecycle management\nCreate monitoring systems to detect model drift and implement automated retraining mechanisms\nInfrastructure & Architecture\nArchitect scalable AI solutions leveraging cloud and edge computing technologies\nDevelop and maintain microservice architectures supporting AI deployments\nImplement data pipelines to support training and inference needs across diverse data types\nCollaboration & Innovation\nPartner with data scientists and Generative AI Engineers to optimize model performance and deployment efficiency\nWork cross-functionally with business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business needs\nEvaluate and incorporate emerging AI technologies to maintain competitive advantage\nBusiness Impact\nDrive business value by successfully integrating AI capabilities into Covestro's core processes\n Accelerate digital transformation through automated, intelligent solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation\nEnable data-driven decision making by making AI accessible and reliable for business users\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with 7+ years’ experience; OR Master's degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with 5+ years experience; OR PhD with 3+ years experience\n3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with demonstrated success in production AI systems\nExperience with modern AI frameworks\nKnowledge and Skills\nStrong expertise in containerization and cloud platforms\nProficiency with data processing technologies) and database systems\nProgramming expertise in Python and familiarity with other languages\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nExcellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences\nAdaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and requirements\nWillingness to travel occasionally for collaboration purposes\n#LI-HybridYOUR APPLICATION\nAre you as curious, courageous and colorful as we are?
