Our passion for the well-being of animals and those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinary medicine.\nSAP S/4HANA SCM Lead (EWM & PTP) - BeNe\nCovetrus has been live on SAP S/4HANA across Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe) for several years, covering Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes. We are looking for an experienced SAP SCM Lead to take ownership of these two process areas within our Centre of Excellence (CoE) team.\nReporting to the Application Manager, BeNe, your first priority is ensuring the stability and reliability of EWM and PTP in daily operations. Partnering closely with other functions - IT, business process owners, and the wider CoE - is essential to keeping the BeNe landscape stable. Once that foundation is solid, you will work with the business and IT to identify how AI and automation can further optimize these processes.\nYour main responsibilities\nStability & operational ownership\nAct as the primary owner for the health and performance of SAP EWM and PTP processes in production across Belgium and the Netherlands.\nLead incident and problem management for EWM and PTP, working with key users, IT, and support partners to resolve issues quickly and durably.\nGovern the change request backlog for your process areas - prioritizing, validating, and safeguarding the integrity of the solution.\nEnsure system stability through releases, patches, and periodic SAP updates, minimizing disruption to the business.\nProcess & stakeholder leadership\nSit within the BeNe Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, providing functional leadership across EWM and PTP.\nPartner closely with other CoE members and cross-functional teams (IT, business process owners, support partners) - this collaboration is essential to maintaining overall system stability.\nMaintain and safeguard process design and documentation, keeping system/user documentation current in designated repositories.\nAct as the link between business process owners and IT/support teams, translating requirements into sustainable SAP solutions.\nCoach and support key users and the wider user community on best practices.\nContinuous improvement & AI-enabled optimization\nOnce operational stability is established, explore how AI and automation can improve EWM and PTP processes.\nIdentify, propose, and - after approval - help implement improvement opportunities, from quick wins to larger process changes.\nPartner with Data & Analytics and IT colleagues on broader AI adoption initiatives relevant to SCM processes.\nContinuously challenge and partner with stakeholders to raise the maturity of the BeNe SAP landscape.\nYour profile\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.\n8+ years of SAP experience, including hands-on ownership of SAP EWM and PTP (MM) processes in a live, post-go-live production environment; S/4HANA experience required.\nComfortable leading process areas and influencing stakeholders through expertise and partnership, whether or not the role carries formal direct reports.\nStrong knowledge of SAP EWM and PTP/MM core functionality, with good exposure to cross-functional areas such as SD, TM, and FICO.\nWorking knowledge of the interfaces surrounding EWM and PTP (e.g. WCS/WES, RF, EDI/IDoc, 3PL integrations) sufficient to troubleshoot and guide changes.\nAbility to explain technical solutions in business language to non-technical stakeholders.\nGenuine interest in how AI and automation can be applied to SCM processes.\nAbility to debug and read ABAP code is an advantage.\nAnalytical, solution-oriented, and results-driven, with an end-to-end perspective.\nFluent in English; Dutch and/or French is an advantage given the BeNe scope.\nWillingness to travel occasionally between Belgium and Netherlands sites.\nWhat can you expect from us\nA collaborative Centre of Excellence team, with cross-functional partnership built into how we work.\nA stable, mature SAP landscape with real room to shape how it evolves - including its use of AI and automation.\nA challenging and enterprising work environment with an informal working culture.\nExcellent terms of employment, including extra-legal benefits and a target-based bonus.\nMore information\nFor more information about the position, you can contact Rajesh Avinjikatmanakkal by email at \nCovetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
