Your focus will be on preparing detailed electrical designs and documentation for substation control and monitoring systems, including interfaces with protection equipment and auxiliary power supplies.\nYour key responsibilities will be to:\n\nPrepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for substation control and monitoring systems.\nTranslate functional requirements into detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.\nReview electrical drawings for technical accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements.\nCoordinate electrical interfaces between primary equipment, control and protection systems, and auxiliary power supplies.\nProvide electrical design support throughout the delivery of high-voltage substation projects.\nYour skills. You take a structured approach to your work, take responsibility for your deliverables and are comfortable working independently.\nIn addition, you will have:\n\nA degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.\nPractical experience in electrical design and the preparation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\nExperience using PCSCHEMATIC and SEE Electrical.\nA sound understanding of high-voltage substations, AC and DC auxiliary power supplies, control and monitoring circuits, and protection equipment.\nAn understanding of the interfaces between primary equipment and secondary systems.\nA high level of proficiency in both Danish and English, spoken and written.\nThe ability to obtain the security clearance required for the assignment.\nYour primary workplace will be one of COWI’s offices in Denmark, depending on your location and the requirements of the assignment. Depending on the project, you may also work remotely or at client locations.
