Working on a variety of Offshore substation projects, you’ll be responsible for the electrical and mechanical elements of our Topsides scope.\nYour key responsibilities will be:\nLeading and coordinating all mechanical and electrical engineering activities related to Offshore Substation Topsides for offshore wind projects.\nActing as the technical authority and primary interface for electrical systems within the Topsides scope.\nDeveloping engineering execution strategies, priorities, and action plans to ensure timely project delivery.\nCoordinating multidisciplinary interfaces across electrical, structural, mechanical, telecom, SCADA, safety, and HV systems disciplines.\nProviding technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, discipline leads, suppliers, and subcontractors.\nIdentifying technical risks, interface challenges, and engineering constraints, and implement mitigation strategies throughout the execution phase.\nEnsuring engineering activities are aligned with fabrication, transportation, installation, commissioning, and operational requirements.\nParticipating in technical workshops, design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP sessions, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning coordination, and client meetings.\nPromoting continuous improvement and implementation of engineering best practices and lessons learned across projects.\nYour skills. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.\nOn top of that, you’ll have:\nExtensive experience within offshore wind and offshore substation projects.\nSolid technical understanding of OSS Topside electrical systems and multidisciplinary interfaces.\nExperience from developer, EPC, OEM, fabrication yard, or consultancy environments.\nFamiliarity with international offshore standards and regulations including IEC, DNV, and grid compliance requirements.\nDemonstrated capability in managing engineering teams within complex international projects.\nKnowledge of fabrication, transportation, offshore installation, commissioning, and operational considerations for offshore substations.\nEffective stakeholder management and communication skills across clients, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.\nA place to work and so much more\nAt COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and liveable world.
