Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description\nPRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES\nPerforms the full range of Vehicle Operations Training duties for an assigned region, group and/or for designated product areas.\nPartners with Curriculum Development team to prepare online and written training materials.\nWorks with subject matter experts to ensure that course material and practical / hands on experience are designed to achieve desired learning outcomes.\nExecutes and shares best practices for ensuring excellence in instructor training and performance.\nEnsures effective delivery of training and solutions to support the highest competence given the level of knowledge and skill required.\nConducts pilot training and provides feedback to adjust materials to better serve Cox team members.\nContributes to the development and review of new training materials by analyzing technical / learner feedback and adapting materials / methods accordingly.\nMeasures the effectiveness of training content and delivery.\nConsult with business leaders, to assess tech training needs and deliver development initiatives that improve performance and that drive business results.\nDirect the implementation of training curriculum standards and guidelines, as well as policies and procedures related to various training and educational programs for the associates.\nTranslate desired organizational culture into training mechanisms.\nCommunicate training department performance against goals and objectives.\nBuild and maintain business relationships with key business partners within the organization.\nProblem solves; effectively plan, organize, delegate, and follow through to successful resolution.\nIdentify training objectives and select appropriate instructional methodologies and procedures such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, presentations, and computer-based training.\nRequired Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills\nBachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of progressive management experience in an automotive environment, supported by a strong background in automotive technical training and technician development.\nHands-on leadership skills with the ability to thrive under the pressure of a fast-paced organization.\nBe self-directed, energetic, and focused on quality.\nExcellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nTerrific communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.\nDemonstrated experience in leading large, complex enterprise programs and projects to successful execution.\nStrong leadership, motivational, and influencing skills.\nAbility to quickly assess an opportunity’s potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience.\nTravel: 25%\nDrug Testing\nTo be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
