We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.\nCox Fleet is currently hiring a CDL A Driver to join our Shop Team to support the future growth of the Company.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nShuttle commercial vehicles to be repaired or post repairs between our maintenance shop and our customers in the surrounding area - behome every evening.\n\nPick up and deliver parts from local parts stores/distribution centers back to our maintenance shop.\n\nProvide excellent customer service by going above and beyond customers’ expectations.\n\nContributes to achievement of Maintenance Shop department goals and objectives.\n\nMake parts runs to parts stores and deliver to shops and mobile techs.\n\nAssist with Bert in maintaining the parts shelves for the techs.\n\nAssist with shop cleanliness.\n\nPick up customer trailers with our tractor and deliver to shop and other yards.\n\nPick up and deliver customer trucks.\n\nMaintains a safe and compliant working environment.\n\nAttends management meetings when requested.\n\nOther duties as assigned to meet business requirements.\n\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years’ experience in a related field.\n\nSafe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required. Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence CDL-A driver’s license, be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File. ).\n\nBetween 1 and 3 years of CDL driving experience.\n\nThe ability to lift to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment.\n\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\n\nThe ability to read/follow maps, routes, and GPS system.\n\nExperience in positions demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional customer service to external and internal contacts.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.\n\nDependable, organized and committed.\n\nPositive attitude, good instincts, and self-motivation\n\nFamiliarity with the local geography.\n\nHigh energy, a positive attitude, adaptability, and strong work ethic.
