Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description\nThis position is a producing Auction Support Specialist that provides direction, training, leadership and technical expertise to all other Auction Support Specialists.\nUtilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process all sold units, and verify/enter lights.\nSupport multiple lanes with multiple auctions across the country\nWork with auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents vehicle. Verify vehicle run order to ensure appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.\nOperate monitor virtually, work with auctioneer to review Simulcast bids.\nProvide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.\nEstablish and maintain close working relationships and rapport with auction leadership and virtual block specialist team members.\nMonitor lane performance and troubleshoot issues with location IT Technicians\nProvide training to assigned VBS team members\nVirtual block specialist activities to fill in and also as part of regular schedule.\nCollaborate with VBS leadership and virtual block specialist team members to identify issues, solve problems, improve and measure client experience.\nEffectively sets an example in behavior, championing Cox Automotive values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.\nVisibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. \nPerform other duties as assigned by leadership\nQualifications:\nMinimum-\nHigh School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience in a related field.\nOR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years’ experience;\nOR 9 years’ experience in a related field\nAbility to serve as a team lead and be assigned to provide general guidance/ direction, training, and technical assistance to less experienced associates\nGreat problem-solving and organizational skills are essential.\nAbility to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.\nAbility to foster productive and professional internal and external business relationships.\nStrong communication and interaction skills required.\nEffective time management, client service, and organizational skills required.\nMust possess a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and enjoy a fast paced, detail-oriented environment.\nRegularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.\nAbility to lift 1-10 pounds.\nVision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nPreferred-\n3 or more years of auction block experience preferred\nProficient computer and software skills essential.
