The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 14 years’ experience in a related field.\n2+ years of professional software development experience.\nExperience developing applications with React.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience developing backend services using Java and/or Python.\nExperience working with AWS cloud technologies.\nUnderstanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and CI/CD concepts.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).\nExperience with reporting, business intelligence, or analytics platforms such as LOGI, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.\nExperience building or supporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.\nExperience working with Snowflake or large-scale cloud data platforms.\nFamiliarity with containerized and cloud-native application architectures.\nWe're looking for engineers who:\nBring a positive, team-first attitude.\nAre eager to learn new technologies and business domains.\nEnjoy solving complex problems and taking ownership.\nCommunicate effectively and collaborate well across technical and non-technical teams.\nLeave their ego at the door and focus on collective success.\nThrive in a fast-growing environment where priorities evolve and opportunities to make an impact are abundant.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll have the opportunity to help shape a rapidly expanding platform that serves critical business reporting needs across Cox Automotive. Your work will directly impact dealer customers, business stakeholders, and future platform capabilities while giving you exposure to modern cloud, data, and reporting technologies at enterprise scale\nDrug Testing\nTo be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
