This role requires someone who understands both the technical complexities of mobile development and the unique challenges of publishing platforms.\nPlease note, this role is based in Atlanta, GA.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain the AJC mobile app using React Native, ensuring high performance and excellent user experience across iOS and Android platforms\nParticipate in CMS integration efforts, including Payload CMS implementation and complex migration projects\nImplement and maintain website tracking, analytics integration, and user behavior monitoring systems\nIntegrate asset management systems for seamless handling of images, videos, and multimedia content in a newsroom environment\nCollaborate with newsroom teams to understand publishing workflows and translate requirements into technical solutions\nUse Claude Code and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality\nWork with cross-functional teams including product, design, backend engineers, and newsroom stakeholders\nWHO YOU ARE\nRequired Qualifications\nApplicants must currently reside within a commutable distance to midtownAtlanta and be comfortable with a hybrid schedule\nApplicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
