In this role, the worker will assist the warehouse operator to ensure the proper functioning of logistics operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, resourceful, thorough, and attentive to detail. This position represents an excellent opportunity to actively participate in the development of a young Canadian start-up and the creation of a strong customer-centric culture.\nWhat you'll be doing\nEnsure daily Core & Support activities (Unloading containers, Receiving, Picking, Staging, Shipping, Special Orders, Quality Control, etc.) are completed on time & in full. \nPropose & lead various initiatives and process improvements pertaining to all WH activities. \nEnsure safety measures & warehouse rules are known and obeyed by all employees. \nTake accountability for core & support activities and propose action plans when results are not met. \nOther related tasks. \nWe'd love to hear from you if you have\n2+ years experience in a distribution, or fulfillment, center setting. \nAbility to work physically for extended periods of time: standing, moving and lifting up to 49 lbs (22kg) in variable temperatures. \nExperience in a quality control environment is a plus. \nAttention to detail and ability to follow multistep processes. \nHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nExperience in a small teams or startups is a plus. \nWe care about you\nStrong customer-centric culture. \nDynamic and enthusiastic team. \nGrowth opportunities. \nAdvantageous salary of $21/hour + premium \n40 hours/week (paid overtime). \nWeekend Shift (Saturday - Monday: 7AM to 7PM). \nBenefits starting after 1 month. \nWe are constantly looking to improve, learn and adapt to our environment.
