As a result, we are seeking a Business Development Manager, executing an individual contributor role, to develop our presence in the market. We are looking for experienced and talented sales professionals to build relationships with commercial kitchens in their assigned territory and to close new accounts.\nOnboarding and the road to success with Cozzini Bros. includes:\nWeek one: Field training with the Regional Sales Manager that includes systems training, product knowledge training, active prospecting and closing new customers. Additionally, a ride along with our Delivery Drivers to witness first hand the value we bring to a commercial kitchen.\nWeek two: Peer to peer training with a top-performing Business Development Manager. You will get to shadow the very best of Cozzini to see the playbook executed at the highest level.\nWeek three: Working in your home market actively executing the playbook with the Regional Sales Manager on your wing.\nWeek four: We fly you to Chicago to attend Cozzini University! We want to meet you!\nRequirements\nKey job responsibilities:\nExecuting 15+ in-person sales contacts every day / 70 each week\nLeaving a minimum of 8 knife trials with prospective customers each week\nEstablishing a minimum of 5 new customers each week through cold calling, networking, social media prospecting, and lead execution\nEstablish a minimum of 4 new upsells within existing accounts, focusing on programs such as can openers, slicer blades, and food processing blades.\nMaintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce\nMaintaining an accurate inventory of sales knives\nWorking effectively with all Cozzini Bros. service and support team members\nPerforming all duties safely (knife handling, operating company vehicles, and being inside commercial kitchens)\nMaintaining the Cozzini Bros. company vehicle\nHere’s what we’re looking for:\nExposure or experience in the foodservice industry\nA successful background in a remote field sales/business development role\nFamiliarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)\nHighly motivated, target-driven with a proven track record\nHighly competitive, a “refuse to lose” mentality.\nExcellent written/verbal communication skills\nCoachable team players\nValid driver’s license and the ability to meet pre-employment and periodic MVR requirements (as outlined in Cozzini Bros.
