Join our team and help us build Southeast Asia’s next unicorn.\nWe are seeking a AI / Machine Learning Engineer skilled in both ML model development and backend engineering, with a strong foundation in deep learning and Thai language NLP. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical ability with a passion for building production-grade AI systems that enhance search and recommendation experiences for millions of users.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Research & Model Development\nRead, interpret, and replicate academic and applied research papers to develop innovative ML and deep learning models.\nApply and fine-tune deep learning architectures including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and Siamese networks for search and recommendation systems.\nImplement ranking and relevance optimization techniques such as Learning to Rank, Two Towers, XGBoost, reranking, relevancy tuning, and collaborative filtering.\nBuild and train embeddings for improving semantic understanding and personalization.\n2. Thai Language NLP\nDevelop NLP models tailored for the Thai language, addressing tokenization, fuzziness, and non-space segmentation challenges.\nImplement solutions for vector similarity, closest word matching, and context-aware text embeddings.\n3. Deep Learning & GPU Training\nDesign, train, and optimize deep learning models using TensorFlow or PyTorch.\nEfficiently utilize GPU infrastructure for large-scale model training and fine-tuning.\nConduct hyperparameter tuning and experiment tracking for continuous model improvement.\n4. Backend Integration\nIntegrate ML and deep learning models into production systems via Python and JavaScript (Node.js) backends.\nDevelop and maintain REST APIs for model inference and search functionality.\nDebug, fix, and merge backend issues using Git-based workflows.\n5. Model Deployment & Operations\nDeploy and manage ML pipelines in production environments.\nEnsure models are scalable, low-latency, and fault-tolerant.\nWork closely with data engineers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and monitoring.\n6. Collaboration & Delivery\nCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in search relevance and user engagement.\nFocus on hands-on, results-oriented solutions rather than purely theoretical models.\nRequirements\n1. Education\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.\n2. Experience\nProven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Deep Learning Engineer, or Applied ML Developer.\nPrior experience in search, ranking, or recommendation systems is highly preferred.\n3. Technical Skills\nStrong programming proficiency in Python and SQL.\nExperience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.\nKnowledge of ML methods: CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, Siamese networks, XGBoost, and Learning to Rank.\nFamiliarity with ML model deployment, GPU training, and backend integration.\nBackend experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js.\n4. Thai NLP (Good to Have)\nAbility to handle Thai tokenization, fuzziness, and non-segmented text.\nFamiliarity with Thai word embeddings and NLP preprocessing.\n5. Tools & Infrastructure\nExperience with Git, AWS (or other cloud platforms), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.\nAbility to debug backend systems, fix issues, and merge pull requests efficiently.\n6.
