You'll work alongside Product Owners and software engineers to ensure quality is considered from feature discovery through production. You'll help teams decide what should be tested, where it should be tested, and how it can be automated efficiently.\nYou'll build tools, frameworks, and engineering practices that enable developers to confidently own quality while continuously improving our software delivery process.\nRemote candidates outside of Thailand are welcome to apply.\nResponsibilities\nDrive Engineering Quality\nDefine testing strategies for new features and system capabilities. \nGuide engineering teams to apply testing at the right level (unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance).\nIdentify quality risks during design and backlog refinement before implementation begins. \nEstablish engineering quality standards and continuously improve testing practices across the team.\nBuild Automation\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks. \nDevelop automated tests across API, integration, contract, and UI layers. \nImprove CI/CD quality gates to increase deployment confidence. \nContinuously improve test reliability, execution speed, and developer feedback loops.\nPartner with Product Owners\nCollaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and ensure stories are testable.\nHelp define clear acceptance criteria and identify edge cases early.\nEnsure business workflows can be validated efficiently through automation.\nEnable Engineers\nRather than becoming the team's testing bottleneck, you'll help engineers build better software.\nImprove Engineering Practices\nRecommend improvements to our development workflow, automation strategy, and release process.\nDrive adoption of modern quality engineering practices. \nMonitor quality metrics and identify opportunities to reduce production defects. \nContinuously improve developer experience around testing and automation.\nYou will also need to :\nCoach developers on effective testing practices. \nReview designs and pull requests from a quality perspective.\nHelp teams decide what should-and shouldn't-be covered by automated tests. \nBuild reusable testing libraries, utilities, and developer tooling. \nPromote Shift Left quality practices across the engineering organization.\nRequirements\n7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, or Test Automation.\nStrong software development experience in Java ( preferred) or another modern programming language.\nExperience building and maintaining automation frameworks rather than simply writing automated tests.\nExperience working with distributed systems and microservice architectures.\nStrong understanding of: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, API Testing, Contract Testing, End-to-End Testing, Performance Testing principles\nExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience working closely with Product Owners and software engineers in Agile teams.\nStrong analytical and debugging skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExpertise in: Java / Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, Kafka or event-driven systems, Docker / Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar, Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, Pact, JUnit, or similar tools, Datadog, Grafana, or other observability platforms\nNice to Have\nWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)\nSupply Chain or Logistics systems\nRetail technology \nPerformance testing \nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) \nContract testing implementation \nExperience coaching engineering teams\nWhat Success Looks Like\nWithin your first year, you'll:\nEstablish scalable quality engineering practices across our WMS tool.\nImprove developer ownership of testing and quality.\nIncrease automation coverage at the most valuable test layers-not simply increase the number of tests.\nReduce production defects through better engineering practices.\nImprove confidence in every deployment through automation and effective quality gates.\nHelp build a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility\nBenefits\nHealth Insurance - We care about your health!
