Reporting to the Design Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating design activities, managing interfaces between disciplines, and ensuring designs are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and constructability.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional who enjoys working in a collaborative project environment and has experience managing complex stakeholder and design coordination activities across major infrastructure or construction projects.\nYour Opportunity\nCoordinate design activities across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders.\nEnsure design interfaces are effectively managed and resolved.\nReview designs for compliance with statutory, legislative, construction, and operational requirements.\nFacilitate the resolution of technical and construction-related design issues.\nMonitor design matters arising from defect rectification, value engineering initiatives, and external stakeholder interfaces.\nCoordinate construction support activities, including design inspections and supervision where required.\nLiaise with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of design outcomes.\nOur minimum requirements for this role are:\nA Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.\nValid Australian working rights.\nExperience coordinating designs within construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.\nStrong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExperience managing and liaising with design consultants.\nThe ability to manage project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.\nExcellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities.\nThe ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to complex project environments.\nWe particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, mature workers, Veterans and Active Defence Reserve members, people with disabilities and people from different cultural backgrounds.
