My client a very reputable Irish business are seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to join their Cork finance team. This role manages day-to-day accounts payable duties while supporting end-to-end payroll processing.

This is a 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

Process high-volume supplier invoices, credit notes, and expense reports.
Perform purchase order matching, batching, coding, and monthly statement reconciliations.
Prepare weekly and monthly creditor payment runs and resolve vendor queries.
Support weekly and monthly payroll processing in compliance with Irish Revenue (ROS) regulations.
Verify timesheets, overtime, holiday pay, and statutory deductions.
Assist with month-end AP ledger reconciliations and general finance administration.

Requirements & Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable with practical Irish payroll exposure.
Working knowledge of Irish PAYE, PRSI, USC, and AP VAT compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Relate, Big Red Book) and MS Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with sensitive payroll data.
