The Business Data Analyst will work closely with Business, Implementation and Technology teams to ensure programme requirements are translated accurately into system configurations, with a strong focus on data integrity, system functionality and technical analysis.\nThis individual will Act as part of the Technical Expert team, sharing knowledge of the platforms, data structures, system capabilities and technical requirements as setup requirements evolve.\nThe Registration team’s main objectives are to:\nPerform the static data setup of deals, or \"programmes\" within Supply Chain Finance, ensuring the accuracy, consistency and integrity of deal parameters in line with business and system requirements.\nEnhance the technical structuring of deals to ensure the programme design can be efficiently translated into the configuration and setup of the relevant platforms.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nRegistration & Data Management\nPrioritise tasks and delegate accordingly to the rest of the team.\nAssist with the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports for Head Office, Business Lines, KPIs and other stakeholders.\nPerform registration within Supply Chain Finance (SCF) platforms based on instructions received from GTS Implementation. Control prerequisites prior to registration and perform data validation and consistency checks on programme parameters.\nInput, control, release and maintain static data and Supply Chain Financing business data across internal and external SCF platforms, including Supply Chain Front Office and Back Office for Payables and Receivables, as well as third-party Payables and Receivables platforms.\nAnalyse and validate programme and static data to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency across systems.\nMaintain clear communication and a comprehensive audit trail for all requests handled.\nDemonstrate strong attention to detail and vigilance in the validation of data to minimise errors and maintain high levels of data quality.\nUnderstand end-to-end data flows, system dependencies and the downstream impact of data changes, providing quick remediation where incidents or data issues are identified.\nMaintain procedures and user guides, updating and validating documentation following system, process or data changes.\nExtract, review and analyse static data from SCF platforms on demand.\nCoordinate, participate in and contribute to tools release management activities, including business requirements/specification validation, data validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for registration-related items.\nIdentify and declare system or data issues relating to registration and provide clear technical details, analysis and supporting information to IT teams.\nAssist with the investigation and root-cause analysis of data, configuration and platform issues, working with technical teams through to resolution.\nEnsure required controls are performed, including JIRAs assigned and ensuring no screens or registration activities remain pending.\nEnsure SCM controls are performed correctly and that supporting details are provided as required.\nEnsure escalation policies and reporting procedures are followed.\nAct as a technical and data subject matter expert, advising internal stakeholders on programme setups, data requirements, system capabilities and platform limitations.\nApply technical expertise to the delivery of new platform enhancements and evolving setup requirements.\nPerform functional and data testing of new system enhancements, identifying issues and suggesting improvements to system functionality and user experience.\nCollaborate with local and Global Technical Support teams in the investigation and resolution of problem tickets, data issues and system incidents.\nSupport the translation of business requirements into system and data requirements, ensuring proposed solutions can be effectively implemented within SCF platforms.\nDeliver training on Supply Chain Finance platforms as part of ongoing knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nFinancial Security\nKnowledge\nStaff must have a clear understanding of Group policies and requirements and their own obligations under these standards. This includes ensuring they understand regulatory and Group requirements in relation to Financial Security, both at a general level and specifically as they relate to their role.\nVigilance & Reporting\nStaff must remain vigilant regarding unusual or suspicious activity and appropriately report or escalate concerns to senior management or Compliance. Such activity may relate to customers, counterparties, staff or other third parties.\nQualifications, Experience & Competencies\nThird-level qualification in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Data or a related discipline.\nUp to 5 years' experience within banking operations, financial services or a related environment.\nGood proficiency with general IT systems and business applications.\nExperience working with business data, static/reference data, system configuration or data-driven operational processes.\nTechnical implementation or systems change experience would be an advantage.\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Word and PowerPoint.\nStrong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation and data integrity principles.\nAbility to analyse data flows and understand the relationship between business requirements, data and system configuration.\nExperience with UAT, requirements analysis, incident investigation or release/change management would be advantageous.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data and system issues in a structured manner.\nClear and concise communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical or data-related issues to both business and technology stakeholders.\nHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detail.\nAbility to deliver under pressure as workloads change whilst maintaining motivation of self and team.\nExperience delivering a high level of customer service.\nExperience working within a team environment that can be fast-paced, balancing speed and quality through efficiency, accuracy and effective time management.\nExperience working flexibly and with resilience in a changing, dynamic environment.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Business, Operations, Implementation, IT and Technical Support teams, demonstrating reliability, responsiveness, understanding and strong
