Responsibilities Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership\nLead and continuously improve the site's EHS Management System.\nEnsure compliance with: o EPA Licence requirements o Environmental legislation o Health & Safety legislation\nDevelop and implement the site's EHS Excellence Roadmap.\nLead EHS audits, inspections and compliance reviews.\nDrive improvements in safety performance, near-miss reporting and hazard identification.\nEstablish, maintain and review industrial hygiene monitoring plans to ensure compliance with applicable occupational exposure limits and regulatory requirements.\nPromote a proactive safety culture across all functions. Environmental Compliance & Sustainability\nMaintain compliance with all environmental permits, licences and regulatory obligations.\nLead ISO14001 certification activities, surveillance audits and management review processes.\nLead environmental programmes including: o Air emissions management o Water and wastewater management o Waste management o Environmental improvement projects o Sustainability initiatives\nMonitor emerging environmental legislation and assess potential business impacts. Product Stewardship & Regulatory Compliance\nOwn the site's Product Stewardship Programme.\nEnsure compliance with relevant chemical, environmental and product regulations.\nMaintain oversight of: o Safety Data Sheets (SDS) o Chemical inventories o Regulatory documentation o Product compliance records\nSupport new material introduction and change management processes through compliance and stewardship reviews.\nReview regulatory impact of new materials, formulation changes and supplier changes. Governance, Risk & Compliance\nAct as owner of site environmental, safety and compliance governance frameworks.\nMaintain environmental, EHS and compliance risk registers.\nLead investigations relating to EHS, environmental and compliance incidents. Leadership & Capability Development\nLead and develop EHS and compliance capability across the organisation.\nSupport knowledge retention and succession planning initiatives.\nDrive accountability for EHS and compliance performance across all functions.\nIntroduce industry best practices and external benchmarking approaches. Qualifications & Skills Essential\nDegree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Health & Safety or related discipline.\nExperience in an EHS, Environmental Compliance or Regulatory Compliance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of: o Environmental compliance o Health & Safety systems o Risk management o Regulatory compliance o Auditing and governance systems\nExperience leading investigations, audits and continuous improvement programmes.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Highly Desirable\nExperience leading multi-disciplinary functions across EHS, Compliance, Quality or Site Services.\nStrong regulatory and audit background.\nExperience in organisational and operational change management.\nProduct Stewardship or chemical compliance experience.\nExperience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
