We are particularly interested in speaking with both Electrical and Mechanical Technicians who have experience working in critical utilities, power generation, marine, industrial, pharmaceutical, or heavy process environments.\nThis is a unique opportunity to join a highly skilled operations and maintenance team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a large-scale energy centre incorporating high-voltage infrastructure, gas-fired generation, steam systems, and critical plant equipment.\nPackage & Benefits\n·Day Role: €68,000 - €75,000 basic salary plus benefits.\n·Shift Role: €68,000 basic salary plus 33% shift allowance, delivering a total package of approximately €85,000, plus benefits.\n·Comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, and additional employee benefits.\nWe're Hiring\n·4 x Electrical Technicians\n·4 x Mechanical Technicians\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe welcome candidates from a variety of technical backgrounds, particularly:\n·Marine Engineers with Irish operational or maintenance experience\n·Power Generation Technicians\n·Utilities & Energy Centre Technicians\n·Industrial Maintenance Technicians\n·Process Plant Maintenance Personnel\n·Pharmaceutical Utilities Technicians\n·Data Centre Critical Environment Engineers\nEssential Experience\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate experience in several of the following areas:\n·High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems\n·Gas-fired generation plant\n·Steam systems and associated equipment\n·Rotating machinery and pumps\n·Switchgear, transformers, MCCs and control systems\n·Permit-to-Work and LOTO procedures\n·Preventative and reactive maintenance within a critical environment\nWorking within strict safety and compliance standards\nElectrical Technician Responsibilities\n·Maintain HV and LV electrical infrastructure\n·Perform switching operations and electrical isolations\n·Fault-find across switchgear, transformers, UPS and control systems\n·Support generator testing and commissioning activities\n·Monitor electrical systems through SCADA/BMS platforms\n·Assist with upgrades, shutdowns and maintenance projects\nMechanical Technician Responsibilities\n·Maintain and troubleshoot gas engines, boilers, steam systems and associated plant\n·Carry out maintenance on pumps, valves, heat exchangers and rotating equipment\n·Support commissioning and reliability improvement activities\n·Participate in planned shutdowns and critical maintenance programmes\n·Monitor plant performance and identify operational improvements\n·Ensure statutory and safety compliance across all maintenance activities\nIdeal Candidate\n·Trade Qualified Electrician, Mechanical Fitter, Marine Engineer or equivalent technical qualification\n·Experience within energy, utilities, marine, power generation, pharmaceutical or similar heavy industrial environments\n·Strong understanding of HV systems, steam generation and gas plant operations\n·Ability to work in a critical environment where uptime and safety are paramount\n·Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving capability\nWhy Apply?\n·Opportunity to work on one of Ireland's most technically advanced energy facilities\n·Exposure to large-scale HV infrastructure and power generation assets\n·Long-term career progression within a growing operation\n·Work alongside highly experienced engineering and operations teams\n·Competitive salary, shift allowance and benefits package\nIf you have experience with HV systems, steam, gas plant and critical infrastructure environments, we'd be interested in speaking with you.
