This is a critical appointment for a scaling international organisation, offering the opportunity to shape financial governance, reporting, controls and processes as the business continues its ambitious growth trajectory.\nReporting into the CFO, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the global finance operations function, leading a team of nine across Financial Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Management Accounting. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership capabilities and experience operating within a complex multi-entity international environment.\nThis role would particularly suit an individual currently operating as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or Head of Financial Control\nKey Responsibilities\nLead all financial control activities across multiple UK and international entities.\nEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.\nMaintain and strengthen the financial control framework, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and reporting capabilities.\nTake full ownership of the annual external audit process across the Group.\nManage the preparation and submission of statutory accounts.\nAct as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisers and regulatory stakeholders.\nEnsure all statutory reporting obligations are met accurately and on time.\nOwn Group treasury activities and cash management processes.\nDevelop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making.\nMonitor and optimise working capital performance.\nLead covenant reporting and ensure ongoing compliance with banking and lending arrangements.\nProvide insight and recommendations around liquidity management and cash optimisation.\nLead, mentor and develop a team of nine across:\nBuild a high-performing finance function capable of supporting continued business growth.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.\nSupport the CFO in scaling finance infrastructure, controls and processes.\nPartner with key stakeholders across the business to improve financial visibility and commercial decision-making.\nContribute to finance transformation initiatives, systems enhancements and process automation projects.\nPlay a key role in supporting future growth, acquisitions and international expansion activities.\nCandidate Profile\nWe are looking for a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.\nQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\nPrevious experience as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance leadership role.\nExperience managing finance teams within a multi-entity, international environment.\nStrong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.\nProven ownership of annual audits and statutory accounts preparation.\nExtensive treasury and cash management experience.\nDemonstrable experience producing rolling cash flow forecasts.\nStrong understanding of working capital management.\nExperience with covenant reporting and lender relationships.\nExcellent stakeholder management
