This role suits skilled, practical individuals who take pride in workmanship, quality, and safety.\nReporting to the Production Manager and Supervisors, you will work directly from engineering drawings, schematics, and production schedules to build high-quality, safety-critical assemblies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMechanical assembly and fitting of electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment.\nWorking from engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.\nFitting, building, and assembling components for new and repeat products.\nEnsuring high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the build process.\nIdentifying and reporting defective or non-conforming components.\nCompleting MTOs and supporting material ordering for allocated tasks.\nSupporting prototype and development builds.\nMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.\nWorking flexibly, including overtime and site support as required.\nCriteria\nProven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Assembler in a manufacturing or engineering environment\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications\nExperience using engineering hand tools and workshop equipment (e.g. punches, saws, benders, torquing tools)\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nStrong attention to quality and safety\nDesirable Skills, Qualification and Experience:\nExperience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar environment\nField service or on-site installation experience\nFamiliarity with Risk Assessments and Method Statements\nPackage\nCompetitive pay rates\nQuarterly bonuses\nShift Allowance\nOvertime rates\n25 days annual leave\nIncentivised Gym Membership & Cycle-to-Work Scheme\nEmployer pension scheme\nApply Today\nIf you're looking to join a successful manufacturing company that values its employees and offers genuine opportunities for progression, we'd love to hear from you.
