for their flagship manufacturing and R&D operation in Dublin.\nWith a heritage spanning almost 150 years and operations in over 75 countries, they are recognised worldwide for innovation in adhesives, sealants and surface treatment technologies used across a wide range of industrial sectors.\nDue to continued investment and growth within their Irish operations, they are now seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join their technical team and play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of their chemical manufacturing processes.\nThis is an outstanding opportunity for a Chemical Engineer or Process Safety professional who wants to develop their career within a world-class manufacturing organisation operating complex chemical processes and handling reactive materials and flammable solvents.\nThe Opportunity\nReporting to the EHS Director, the successful candidate will act as a key process safety subject matter expert, supporting manufacturing operations, new product introductions, process improvements and capital projects across the site.\nYou will lead and facilitate process safety activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practice and the company’s global process safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and maintain site Process Safety Management (PSM) programmes and initiatives.\nFacilitate and coordinate Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies, ATEX assessments, FMEA reviews and other risk assessment activities.\nDrive process safety improvements across manufacturing operations and engineering projects.\nSupport new product introductions, scale-up activities and technology transfers from R&D into production.\nConduct risk assessments and safety reviews for process modifications and capital projects.\nSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.\nMaintain and improve explosion protection documentation and hazardous area classifications.\nProvide technical guidance on chemical process safety, operational risk management and engineering controls.\nCollaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS and R&D teams.\nMonitor compliance with relevant Irish, European and corporate process safety standards.\nDeliver process safety training and awareness programmes across the site.\nIdentify opportunities to improve process reliability, operational efficiency and manufacturing performance while maintaining the highest safety standards.\nCandidate Profile\nEssential\nDegree qualification in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline.\nMinimum 3 years' Process Safety experience within chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, process manufacturing or a related industrial environment.\nStrong understanding of process safety principles and risk management methodologies.\nExperience participating in or leading HAZOP, PHA, FMEA, ATEX or similar studies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nProven ability to work effectively within cross-functional technical teams.\nHighly Desirable\nExperience working with reactive chemical processes and flammable solvents.\nKnowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.\nExperience supporting new product introductions and process scale-up activities.\nFamiliarity with COMAH, ATEX, IECEx or equivalent process safety regulations.\nProject engineering or continuous improvement experience within
