Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer to join their expanding team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to take ownership of project delivery, work directly with industrial clients, and contribute to the development of innovative energy solutions.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of energy and utility infrastructure projects while helping clients achieve their sustainability, operational, and cost-reduction objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver engineering project work packages from concept and design through to installation and commissioning.\nCarry out technical assessments of industrial energy systems, including steam, compressed air, refrigeration, HVAC, and CHP systems.\nSupport the design and optimisation of mechanical and electrical systems using engineering software and design tools.\nDevelop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, commissioning plans, and safety documentation.\nParticipate in client meetings, site assessments, energy audits, and project progress reviews.\nAssist with contractor management, procurement activities, and supplier engagement.\nMonitor project performance and analyse operational data to validate energy and efficiency improvements.\nEnsure all activities are completed in accordance with relevant health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.\nWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nCandidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Process, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.\nApproximately 2-4 years' engineering experience, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, utilities, energy, or sustainability-focused environments.\nExperience supporting the delivery of technical engineering projects.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience using AutoCAD or similar engineering design software.\nKnowledge of energy management systems, ISO 50001, energy auditing, or decarbonisation programmes would be advantageous.\nA full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.\nAn interest in pursuing professional accreditation or Chartered Engineer status.\nWhat's on Offer\nOpportunity to work on high-impact sustainability and energy efficiency projects.\nExposure to a diverse portfolio of industrial and manufacturing clients.\nStrong career development and progression opportunities.\nCollaborative and supportive working environment.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.
